Consider these words of a pastor to his parish council:
“You’re here ready to give a couple hours of your time. Thank you! But I wouldn’t be a good pastor if I did not ask you to consider: When is the last time you spent just 45 minutes leading your family in meaningful conversation and prayer? If you’re not doing it there, I’m robbing from them here. If you’re not intentionally creating that culture in your own home, what can we hope for from the rest of our parish?”
After so many impactful events or programs, we seek to be an answer to the big question: “And then what?” We are not about “another program,” but a way of life in Jesus Christ.
